Elements Academy organizes a trip for our members and friends to Phuket, Thailand annually. We return to Thailand for many reasons.
- The People - The Thai people have a strong sense of hospitality and generosity; you will be greeted with smiles everywhere you go. Perhaps most unique will be the relationships you build with the trainers at Sinbi Muay Thai gym but let’s not forget the laughter and camaraderie you will share each day with Elements’ staff and members!
- The Landscape - Phuket is mountainous with lush jungle. There is also a significant area of rainforest. The most beautiful beaches are found on the West coast, separated by rocky coves and headlands. Spectacular limestone islands adorn the horizon and coral gardens full of exotic marine life dot the emerald waters surrounding the island. It is hot and humid in Phuket all year round with temperatures ranging between 25 - 34°C.
- The Accommodations - The Mangosteen Resort & Spa is a boutique resort in a secluded, quiet environment with only 41 villa style rooms that ensure privacy and tranquility. The rooms have been designed to look like "your own little house", rather than a hotel room. A full and delicious buffet breakfast is served every morning and included with your room.
- The Food - Thai cuisine blends five fundamental tastes: sweet, spicy, sour, bitter and salty. Thai cuisine is extremely varied and features many different ingredients; some common ingredients include garlic, chilies, lime juice, lemon grass, fish sauce, and many fresh herbs.
- The Training - Sinbi Muay Thai Camp offers traditional Muay Thai training for both serious Muay Thai and K-1 fighters as well as students who are beginners and have no previous martial arts experience. If you want to get fit, lose weight and have fun while training Muay Thai, this is the place to come.
